About the Opportunity

n

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to deliver high-quality food services to our residents while providing kitchen and food preparation support to our Chef. This role is essential in ensuring nutritious, well-presented meals that meet the diverse needs of Residents in our care.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Take direction from the Chef and work collaboratively within the kitchen team
n
- Plan, prepare, and present delicious, well-balanced, and nutritious meals for residents
n
- Assist with general food preparation, kitchen duties, and stock control
n
- Purchase and order food supplies and kitchen equipment as required
n
- Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and served in compliance with relevant legislation and food safety standards
n

About You

n





To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher
n
- A minimum of one year's experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care or hospital experience preferred)
n
- Bulk cooking experience (highly desirable)
n
- Experience preparing texture-modified meals (advantageous)
n
- Robust communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
n
