This is a hands-on People & Culture role for someone who understands that good HR needs to work for the business, not just follow a process.

n

You'll work closely with the leadership team and managers across the operation, building engagement, strengthening culture and helping leaders take ownership of their people.

n

n It's a practical, operational environment with many of the qualities you'd expect from a long-standing family business. They're looking for someone who can help strengthen that culture as the business continues to evolve, without adding unnecessary corporate layers.

What You'll Be Doing

n

- Build strong working relationships with managers and operational leaders
n
- Coach managers through performance, employee relations and day-to-day people matters
n
- Improve engagement and connection across the business
n
- Manage recruitment and find practical solutions in difficult candidate markets
n
- Support workforce planning, onboarding and retention
n
- Provide practical IR and compliance guidance
n
- Identify people issues early and recommend workable solutions
n
- Bring new ideas and external market knowledge into the business
n




- Improve processes without adding unnecessary complexity
n

n

What We're Looking For
n You'll have solid People & Culture/HR experience, but just as importantly, you'll understand business.
n We're looking for someone who can look beyond the HR process, understand what an operational manager is trying to achieve and come back with practical options and solutions.

n

Experience in manufacturing or another operational workplace would be advantageous, particularly if you've worked closely with frontline leaders.
