Junior Credit Analyst / Broker Assistant

We're looking for a full-time Credit Assessor to join our team, based in our Ashgrove office. This is a fully in-office role. Day to day you'll be liaising with clients, reviewing financial documents, completing credit assessments, lodging applications with lenders, preparing settlement documentation, and providing post-settlement client care.

Key responsibilities

n

Liaising with clients via email and phone, and following up on required documentation

n

Reviewing and interpreting client documents, including payslips, tax returns, bank statements, and financial statements, for self-employed borrowers

n

Completing credit assessments and packaging applications for lender review

n

Lodging and managing applications with lenders

n

Preparing post-approval settlement documentation and managing settlements through to completion

n

Assisting our Broker with required tasks and administrative support

n

Learning the ins and outs of personal, home, asset, and commercial finance

n

About you

n

A genuine willingness to learn. No finance or banking background required (though prior credit analyst/lending experience is a bonus)

n





Comfortable working with numbers and reading through documents in detail

n

Confident using Outlook and Excel (majority of the role's day-to-day tools)

n

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

n

Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines

n

High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

n

A positive attitude and team mindset

n

Able to work full-time, fully in-office in Ashgrove
