A Brisbane-based organisation is seeking an Accountant to join its established finance team. Operating within a dynamic and evolving environment, the business has continued to expand its operations and requires an accountant who can support financial reporting, compliance and business performance. Finance is viewed as a key support function, partnering closely with stakeholders across the organisation to provide accurate information and commercial insights.

The Role

n

This is a broad accounting role offering exposure across financial reporting, planning and operational support. Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you'll be responsible for maintaining reporting accuracy, supporting planning cycles and ensuring financial information is delivered in a timely manner. The position offers a balance of recurring reporting responsibilities alongside project and process improvement work.

- Preparing monthly reporting packs and financial analysis
n
- Maintaining general ledger integrity through reconciliations and journal processing
n
- Assisting with forecasting, budgeting and cashflow monitoring
n
- Supporting compliance activities including indirect tax obligations
n
- Assisting with audit requirements and year-end processes
n
- Providing financial support to operational stakeholders
n
- Supporting finance systems,



reporting enhancements and process improvements
n
- Assisting with ad hoc analysis and business reporting requirements
n

About You

n

You're a motivated accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of your work and being involved in a range of finance activities. You have strong attention to detail, enjoy working with stakeholders and are comfortable balancing multiple priorities.

You'll bring:

n

n
- Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
n
- CA or CPA qualification (or currently progressing towards completion)
n
- Experience within a commercial accounting environment
n
- Solid analytical skills and attention to detail
n
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence using financial systems
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capability
n
- A proactive approach and willingness to contribute beyond your core responsibilities
n
