Retail Manager – Pharmacies, Disability Aids and Equipment Salary: $80,000 per annum plus depending on skills and experience. Work Location: 348 Peel Street, Tamworth NSW 2340 Full-Time Position We are seeking a highly motivated Retail Manager to join our team at SA & SMJ Pty Ltd.

Building on an outstanding reputation as a rural and regional pharmacy group, SA & SMJ Pty Ltd is further diversifying and strengthening its business activities through its disability aids and equipment and non-prescription goods and services divisions. As the company's Retail Manager, you will focus on creating and executing an overarching plan to:

n

- promote the sale of disability aids within our existing regional pharmacy network having particular regard to disabled children and teenagers; and
n
- drive improvement in sales of non-prescription goods and services such as vitamins, cosmetics, confectionary, weight loss powders, and perfumes
n

n

The successful applicant will manage these retail activities across several pharmacy locations while also driving online sales performance and customer engagement. This is a full-time position with work conducted across the employer's pharmacy retail outlets throughout regional and rural NSW.

Key Responsibilities The Retail Manager will be responsible for:

n

n
- Establishing referral networks for our disability aids and equipment division by promoting the company's goods and services to child care providers, schools and parents
n
- Managing day-to-day retail operations across multiple pharmacy outlets and online sales channels
n
- Developing and implementing sales, marketing, and promotional strategies to increase revenue and customer engagement with our disability aids and equipment and non-prescription divisions
n
- Monitoring stock levels, purchasing requirements,



and inventory control across all retail locations
n
- Analysing sales performance and preparing reports on retail and online trading activities
n
- Managing pricing, product presentation, merchandising, and promotional displays
n
- Coordinating online product listings, digital promotions, and customer order fulfilment processes
n
- Supervising and training retail staff to ensure high standards of customer service
n
- Liaising with suppliers and service providers regarding stock supply, product availability, and promotional activities
n
- Maintaining customer satisfaction by responding to customer enquiries and resolving complaints effectively
n

Skills, Experience and Qualifications To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:

n

n
- At least 1–2 years of relevant retail management experience
n
- Strong understanding of retail sales, stock control, merchandising, and customer service practices
n
- Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple retail outlets
n
- Robust computer literacy and experience with retail point-of-sale and inventory systems
n
- Qualification at diploma level or above preferably in a field related to retail management, disability services, child related services or a combined field of study
n
- Hold or willing to obtain a NSW working with children check and Australian Federal Police clearance
n

Sales and Marketing:

n

- Develop and execute effective marketing strategies to promote retail sales
n
- Analyze market trends and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth
n
- Set retail pricing
n

Customer Service:

n

n
- Provide outstanding customer support to retail customers in person and via email, chat, and phone
n
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
n
- Ensure that retail customer feedback is collected and used to improve products and services
n
- Work towards building long-lasting customer relationships and brand loyalty
