Part Time Chef

$32.00 / hour + 12% Super

- Work alongside a supportive and friendly team preparing meals for boarders

- Work close to home in Truganina
n
- Onsite parking, 7am - 2pm Monday to Friday shifts
n

THE POSITION

n

n
- Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for students
n
- Contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients
n
- Monitor stock and minimize wastage
n
- Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
n
- Deliver healthy choices and guidance to the future generation
n
- Parking available on site
n

THE PERSON

n

n
- A qualified Chef with Cert 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery
n
- Experience with cooking in bulk quantities
n




- Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
n
- Passionate about healthy and nutritious food
n
- All-rounder experience and able to cook Savoury & sweet desserts
n
- Able to have a valid working with children's check
n
- Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
n
- Must be able to work autonomously
n
- Great customer service as this role will be working in an open kitchen
n
