We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maintenance Planner to support the maintenance execution team plan and schedule preventative maintenance to a Mobile Crane Fleet and supporting Prime movers, Trailers and Light Vehicles.

What we're looking for:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maintenance Planner to support the maintenance execution team plan and schedule preventative maintenance to a Mobile Crane Fleet and supporting Prime movers, Trailers and Light Vehicles. Working closely with maintenance, operations, warehouse, procurement, HSE and external suppliers, the role provides structured planning, work order management, scheduling support and maintenance readiness to reduce downtime, improve equipment performance and ensures compliance with safety, environmental and statutory requirements.





What you'll bring to the team:

- Mechanical Engineering, Trade qualification or a related discipline is preferred
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning for heavy mobile equipment within mining, quarrying, construction, rail or heavy industry
- Sound knowledge of preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance planning principles
- Experience using a CMMS such as FCC, SAP or similar for work order management, planning, scheduling and master data maintenance
- Ability to interpret manuals, maintenance strategies, technical drawings, parts information and OEM documentation
- Exposure to reliability improvement tools such as root cause analysis, defect elimination and condition monitoring is advantageous
- Strong planning, organising and coordination skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic operational environment
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills across maintenance, operations, procurement, warehouse, HSE and external suppliers
- Commercial awareness in relation to labour utilisation, parts consumption, maintenance cost control and equipment downtime
- Commitment to safety leadership, environmental responsibility and procedural compliance
- Proficient computer skills across maintenance systems, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets and reporting tools
- Sound experience in a Maintenance Environment.




- Valuable background in supplier relations and dealing with subcontractor organisations inclusive suppliers of spare-parts

What you'll be doing:

- Develop detailed maintenance plans and job packs to support safe, efficient and effective execution of mobile equipment maintenance activities.
- Develop detailed work plans and job packs for preventative, predictive, corrective and campaign maintenance on mobile equipment
- Scope work requirements including labour, tooling, parts, service exchange components, specialist support, permits and isolation requirements
- Interpret maintenance strategies, OEM documentation, manuals and technical information to support accurate job planning
- Ensure planned work is clearly documented and ready for execution by supervisors and tradespeople
- Support planning for component replacements, statutory inspections, shutdowns and major maintenance events
- Create, update and maintain work orders within the CMMS
- Ensure planning data, task lists, bills of materials and equipment history are accurate and current
- Maintain work order status, coding, priorities and required documentation
- Review completed work orders for quality, completeness, failure coding and historical accuracy
- Support master data improvements to strengthen maintenance planning and reliability outcomes
- Create and maintain weekly and longer-range maintenance schedules in collaboration with maintenance and operations teams
- Prioritise maintenance backlog based on risk, statutory requirements, equipment criticality and operational needs
- Maintain visibility of upcoming maintenance requirements, constraints and readiness issues
- Support schedule development by confirming labour, parts, tooling and equipment availability
- Monitor schedule compliance, backlog age and plan attainment to id
