Location: Ashwood, VIC
n Roster: Monday, Wednesday & Friday (17 hours per week)

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Catering Assistant to join our team at one of our aged care sites in Ashwood. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality food and excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Prepare and assemble food items including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
n
- Assist with meal service, ensuring a high standard of presentation and customer service
n
- Restock supplies before, during, and after service periods
n
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing duties
n




- Set tables and assist with plating and meal distribution
n

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

n

n
- Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service
n
- Experience in contract catering or aged care (desirable but not essential)
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Ability to work effectively within a team setting
n
- Current Flu Vaccination and National Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)
