THE POSITION - MAZDA AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

n

Are you the Best? Do you deliver Month on Month? Do you strive for continual improvement? Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for a range of engine and mechanical tests to diagnose, repair and service vehicles.

n

This role offers you the chance to work in a clean and modern workshop with 33 workshop bays and 50 technicians.



Our technicians work with Mazda Genuine Parts and enjoy regular manufacturer and in-house training, as well as access to up to the minute online data to ensure they remain experts in their field.

DUTIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

n

- Providing expert advice about the mechanical condition of vehicles
n
- Repairing mechanical parts of vehicles such as engine, transmission & suspension systems
n
- Providing guidance to apprentice technicians
n
- Test driving & conducting final assessments
n
- Working in a Productive and Efficient Manner at all times
n

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

n

n
- Minimum of Certificate 3 Automotive Light Vehicle
n
- Experience with all necessary aspects of vehicle mechanisms and systems
n
- Engine, drive train, chassis & electrical experience
n
- Solid diagnostic skills & attention to detail
n
- Ability to work unsupervised
n
- Current manual driver's licence
n
- Wheel alignment experience preferred
n
- Experience in service & repair of Mazda vehicles in a Dealership would be preferred.
