We're currently seeking Experienced Support Workers in Colac to join our passionate team and help individuals achieve their personal goals and live life on their terms.

About the Role

n

As a valued member of our team, you'll support clients with a range of physical, intellectual, and mental health needs. You'll assist with daily living tasks, promote independence, and encourage community participation — all while providing respectful, high-quality care.

What You'll Do

n

n
- Provide personalised support to individuals with disabilities, mental health conditions, and complex needs
n
- Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and household duties
n
- Support clients to achieve their goals and live independently
n
- Encourage community participation, social engagement,



and recreational activities
n
- Monitor wellbeing and report changes in behaviour or health
n
- Providing support in basic first aid and supporting clients with medication where and as required
n
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan and follow individualized care plans
n
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment at all times
n

What You'll Bring

n

n
- Previous experience in a Support Worker or Care Assistant role
n
- A genuine passion for supporting others and promoting independence
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Strong understanding of mental health, physical disabilities, and safeguarding
n
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
n
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs
n
- Minimum qualification, Certificate III in Individual support, Aged Care and Disability
n
- Current Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
n
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
n
- Rights to work in Australia
n
- 100 points of ID, e.g. Passport, Driver License, Citizenship, Medicare
n
