Key responsibilities

- Managing the day-to-day presentation and operation of the Ballarat yard
n
- Keeping the entire site secure, clean, neat and well organised
n
- Receiving machinery, equipment, parts and other deliveries
n
- Inspecting incoming deliveries and reporting any damage or discrepancies
n
- Coordinating customer pickups and transport movements
n
- Showing customers through machinery and displays when they visit
n
- Answering basic customer questions and referring sales enquiries to our sales team
n
- Keeping track of machinery entering and leaving the yard
n
- Ensuring machines are correctly positioned, labelled and ready for display or collection
n
- Carrying out basic machinery checks, including fluid levels, batteries and general condition
n
- Taking photos of incoming or outgoing equipment when required
n
- Promptly reporting any security, maintenance or presentation issues
n

About you

- Reliable, trustworthy and capable of working independently
n
- Friendly, professional and confident dealing with customers
n
- Well organised, with valuable attention to detail
n




- Practical and comfortable working around earthmoving machinery
n
- Basic knowledge of excavators, loaders or similar equipment is preferred
n
- Able to use a phone, email and basic computer systems
n
- Physically capable of performing normal yard duties
n
- A current driver's licence is required
n
- A forklift licence and previous machinery, transport, yard or equipment experience would be an advantage
n
