About the role
n
As a Hospital in Your Home Registered Nurse, you'll provide high-quality acute, complex and palliative care to patients in the comfort of their own homes.
n
You'll have the opportunity to use a broad range of nursing skills, including:
n
n
- IV antibiotic administration and day infusions
n
- Complex wound care and management
n
- Comprehensive clinical assessments
n
- Care planning and clinical reviews
n
- Clinical troubleshooting and escalation
n
- Palliative and end-of-life care
n
- Patient and family education
n
- Care coordination and referrals
n
- Working collaboratively with patients, families, carers and healthcare professionals
n
n

About you
n
You're an experienced Registered Nurse, who is confident working independently and brings strong clinical judgement, excellent communication and a genuine commitment to patient-centred care.
n
You're adaptable, enthusiastic and enjoy having variety in your clinical practice.
n
Essential requirements
n
n
- Minimum 2 year post-graduate experience in acute or palliative care nursing
n
- Current AHPRA registration – unendorsed
n
- Current Queensland driver's licence
n
- Relevant Australian working rights
n
- Ability to obtain and pass a police check
n
- Current IV cannulation certification, or willingness to complete this soon after commencement
n
n
Desirable experience
n
n
- Critical care experience or qualifications
n
- Complex wound care
n
- Palliative care - desirable but not essential
n
- Community-based healthcare
n
n
