A day in the life...
n
An exciting opportunity for acasualBroadcast Designerto join the Sydney News Graphics team servicing the News and Public Affairs programs.
n
You'llbe reporting to the Network Art Director & Broadcast Graphics Managerandbebased in ourhead office in Eveleigh,Sydney.
n
Please note that this is a casual position on a rotating roster, which may include early mornings, weekends, night shifts and public holidays, including Christmas and Valuable Friday.
n
More specifically, you will be:
n
Creating high-quality motion graphics and visual content acrossSunrise, The Morning Show and 7NEWS bulletins.
n
Designing a wide range of on-air graphics, including story graphics, explainers, maps, studio screens and other broadcast graphics.
n
Working closely with editors, producers, journalists and the wider graphics team to turn editorial briefs into transparent, engaging and visually strong graphics.
n
Working within established show branding and style guidelines while bringing creative ideas and solutions to each brief.
n
Managing multiple graphics requests and competing priorities while working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, live news environment.
n
What will you need
n
You'rea results-driven personwiththe ability to buildbuilding positive relationshipswith ourgraphics teamandshow producers.You'resomeone who thrives on organisation and excels atmanagingyourtime effectively,has a passion for creativity&innovation; anda solid understanding ofdesignprinciples.More specifically, you will need;
n
Qualification(s)in graphic design, motion design, or related field.
n
2-5 years of professional experience in motion design.
n
Proficiencyin industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
n
3D AnimationexperienceinCinema4D, Redshift (desirable).
n
Experience preparing design artwork for print production (desirable).
n
