Forklift / Yard Operator

Day Shift | Ongoing Chance | Potential Permanent Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift / Production Operator to join a fast-paced production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-focused individual with recent forklift experience who is looking for long-term employment with potential permanency after 3 to 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Complete packing tasks associated with finished goods and store operations in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
n
- Operate counterbalance and high reach forklifts safely and efficiently within the production area.
n
- Operate production and warehouse equipment, including electronic pallet jacks and tape machines.
n
- Monitor stock levels and report material shortages to maintain operational efficiency.
n




- Adhere to GMP requirements, site safety policies, and housekeeping standards.
n
- Assist with inventory movement, storage, and dispatch activities.
n
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and workplace safety.
n
- Support production team activities as required in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
n

Skills & Experience

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n
- A current and valid LF Forklift Licence.
n
- Minimum 1 year of recent counterbalance forklift experience.
n
- Experience operating high reach forklifts.
n
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.
n
- Ability to follow SOPs and maintain quality standards.
n
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
n
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
n
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
n
