HR/HC Truck Operators – (Road Retexturing & Linemarking Removal)

Retex Pavement Services – Currumbin Waters QLD

n

You'll operate a range of purpose-built UHP waterblasting trucks, vac tankers on state and national highway projects, removing linemarking and retexturing pavement surfaces. Work is a mix of local Gold Coast/Brisbane -based projects and away work on regional and interstate campaigns (accommodation and allowances provided).

Day-to-day you will:

n
- Operate and drive HR/HC waterblasting trucks to and from site
n
- Run UHP blasting equipment to specification, including daily pre-starts and plant checks
n
- Work within traffic control environments on live road corridors (predominantly night shift)
n
- Complete dockets, plant records, and QA paperwork accurately
n
- Carry out routine maintenance, nozzle changes, and general upkeep of equipment
n
- Work as part of a small, tight-knit crew with a strong safety culture
n

About You

n

n
- Current HR or HC licence (essential) with a clean driving record
n




- White Card (General Construction Induction)
n
- Experience in civil construction, road maintenance, or plant operation (waterblasting/UHP experience highly regarded but not essential – full training provided)
n
- Willingness to travel and work away on regional/interstate projects
n
- Comfortable with night shift work
n
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to follow SWMS and site procedures
n
- Mechanically minded with a practical approach to problem-solving
n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- UHP waterblasting or industrial blasting experience
n
- First Aid certificate
n
- Experience on TfNSW or TMR projects
n
