Nurse Next Door Sunshine Coast Noosa is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to become part of our team as a full time Care Ambassador. Registered Nurses are also encouraged to apply as the Care Ambassador role is a great pathway for RN's to move into more senior leadership positions within the company as we continue growing.

In the Care Ambassador role you will be driving one of our Nurse Next Door "Pink Cars" in the community attending nursing visits, occasional caregiving visits, introductory client visits and weekly administration tasks.

The role requires a great "Can do!" attitude, self leadership, exceptional people skills and an ability to take ownership and see things through, thinking outside the box and problem solving when required.

Key responsibilities

- Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised

- Deliver care following the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)

- Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly

- Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly

- Ensure that the First Visit introduction to the client and caregiver represents the Nurse Next Door brand, culture and premium care experience

- Facilitate Happier Ageing by helping clients stay connected to their hobbies and interests

- Identify changes in level of care and communicate recommendations with Care Designer in a time sensitive manner





- Create a positive Caregiver experience and oversee staff performance

- Maintain excellent documentation practices and review client and staff records to ensure accuracy and completeness

- Attend community nursing visits and occasional caregiving visits when required

About you

- AHPRA Registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse

- Minimum 2 years community nursing experience

- Administration experience will be an advantage

- Broadly flexible and consistent availability is crucial

- CPR & First Aid Certification

- Car & Valid Drivers Licence

- National Police Check (Aged Care/ Vulnerable Persons Sector)

- Working With Children Check

- NDIS Worker Screening Approval

- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion

- Community nursing experience would be an advantage

- Subacute and disability experience

- Ability to identify and report client care concerns to the Director of Clinical Operations

- Ability to redirect or deescalate behaviours
