About the role
Due to an exciting period of project growth, we are seeking an experienced Manager for Projects & Electrical Design to join our client’s team in Newcastle.

Leading a small team of Electrical Engineers, you will bridge the gap between design and delivery across a diverse portfolio of complex power systems, high-voltage designs, and specialised infrastructure solutions for heavy industry, utilities, and mining clients.

This multifaceted role offers exceptional variety, combining end-to-end project management, commercial oversight, tendering, client engagement, and design coordination.

You will oversee major electrical projects from concept and tender through to completion, driving successful delivery while managing timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.

What you bring
Ideally, you will be a degree-qualified Electrical Engineer with proven project and commercial management experience in large-scale electrical environments.

You possess solid technical knowledge of electrical systems, outstanding client-facing skills, and a strong track record of steering complex projects through every stage of the lifecycle
