About the Role
Reporting to the HSEQ Manager the role is a key part of the HSE Team providing safety guidance and leadership across the business. This is an opportunity to contribute to a workplace that priorities Education, Risk Management and continuous Improvement in health safety and environmental performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain WHP Compliance records and manage the Myosh Safety System
- Chair Monthly Safety Committee Meetings
- Conduct workplace Inspections
- Lead Toolbox Meetings
- Assist with Risk Assessments
- Support New employee Onboarings
- Assist in Maintaining Staff Safety Training and Competency Records
- Educate Employees on Safe work Practices and Procedures
- Work closely with department managers to embed a strong safety culture
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in safety and risk management
Essential Qualifications & Expereince
- Minimum 2 years expereince in a similar role
- First Aid Certificate & CPR
- Expereince in a manufacturing setting
- Certicate IV in OHS/WHS
- Familiarity with the Myosh Safety System
