About the role

You'll be one of the first points of contact for customers and Tradie partners, helping them through their HomePro Credit journey while also keeping the important behind-the-scenes loan servicing work running smoothly.

One minute you might be helping a homeowner understand their repayment schedule, the next you could be checking income documents, working through a loan account or speaking with one of our Tradie partners about releasing funds.

It's a role with plenty of variety — but because we operate in consumer finance, accuracy, confidentiality, compliance and doing the right thing by the customer are non-negotiable.

Key responsibilities

- Answer phone and email enquiries, help customers understand applications, balances, repayments and products, and guide them through prequalification, applications and e-signatures

- Explain financial concepts in clear, accessible language

- Resolve customer concerns and complaints professionally and empathetically, escalating matters when required

- Work with Tradie partners to confirm completed projects so funds can be released and repayments commenced

- Assist with income verification and credit assessment, review supporting documents, and validate customer information

- Help prepare applications for credit decisions

- Work within the NLS loan management system, helping manage drawdowns, repayment schedules, variations and payouts

- Manage interest-free and promotional periods, direct debits, payment allocations, dishonours and arrears

- Prepare customer correspondence

- Identify potential fraud, hardship or compliance concerns

About you

- Enjoy talking to customers and can remain calm and empathetic when a customer is upset or experiencing financial hardship





- Organised and can juggle multiple things at once without losing track of the important stuff

- Have great attention to detail

- Can explain things clearly without sounding like you're reading from a banking textbook

- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook

- Willing to learn responsible lending, AML/CTF requirements and Australian consumer credit regulations

- Enjoy being part of a team and working with customers, Tradies, operations and compliance

- Like being part of a growing business where everyone is expected to contribute

- Ideally have experience in customer service, a contact centre, loan servicing, credit, underwriting, banking or financial services

- Experience with loan platforms such as NLS is a bonus, but it isn't essential
