About the chance

Our team is seeking experienced Pipefitters Supervisor for our client, ensuring piping systems and associated infrastructure are installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest safety and quality standards. This position works within a small team environment, requiring the successful applicant to possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with both team members and site personnel.

This opportunity is a long-term project with a Tier 1 client in Karratha offering job security, industry-leading exposure, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals while contributing to best-practice project delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

- Supervising and coordinating pipefitting and mechanical teams
- Planning and coordinating daily work activities to meet project schedules
- Overseeing pipe installation, fit-up, assembly and maintenance works
- Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications
- Coordinating with project management, construction and other site teams
- Reading and interpreting drawings and isometrics




- Working alongside mechanical and construction teams
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to specification
- Contributing to project milestones on a major industrial construction site

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting)
- Previous experience as a Pipefitting Supervisor or Mechanical Supervisor
- Must hold a current Section 26 (Statutory Supervisor) qualification
- Experience in pipe installation, fit-up, maintenance, and mechanical works
- Proven experience supervising teams within mining, construction or heavy industrial environments
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and isometrics
- Current Working at Heights (issued within 2 years)
- Current Confined Space Entry (issued within 2 years)
- White Card, EWP (highly regarded)
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Valid Australian working rights
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to support project requirements and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
