Your Chance

Queensland Rail has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated professional to join our Station Customer Service team as a Senior Asset Renewals Officer on a permanent full-time basis in Brisbane.

In this varied and rewarding role, you'll lead the delivery of maintenance and asset renewal projects that support the safety, functionality, and ongoing improvement of Queensland Rail's station assets across the network. Working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and industry partners, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the delivery of complex maintenance and asset renewal projects.
- Conduct site inspections and asset condition assessments to inform project planning and delivery.
- Develop project scopes, resource plans, procurement strategies, and delivery schedules.
- Engage and manage contractors, consultants, and service providers to achieve project outcomes.
- Monitor project performance, budgets, timelines, quality, and compliance requirements.
- Provide technical advice and support to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project closeout activities, including asset handover, audits, reporting, and financial completion.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and industry best practice.

About you:





- Experience in facilities maintenance, construction, infrastructure, or asset management environments.
- Proven project management skills, including planning, budgeting, cost control, and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong analytical and organisational abilities, with experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of procurement, contract administration, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Relevant building, construction, facilities management, or asset management qualifications.
- Formal project management qualifications and/or demonstrated project management experience.
