About the role

As a Service Technician, you'll be the face of ASSA ABLOY in the field, providing expert service, maintenance and installation support for industrial roller shutters and entrance solutions.

Key responsibilities

- Planned and preventative maintenance of industrial doors and entrance systems

- Diagnosis, repair and servicing of equipment in the field

- Installation and commissioning of industrial roller shutters

- Conducting safety inspections to national and local standards

- Identifying and recommending repair and upgrade opportunities

- Working closely with technical support and sales teams

- Participating in a rotating after-hours on-call roster

- Building strong customer relationships through qualified service delivery

About you

- Fabrication, sheet metal or welding experience

- Practical electrical experience/electrical qualifications (highly desirable)

- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills

- Experience working with industrial machinery or equipment





- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems under pressure

- A proactive and safety-focused mindset

- Confidence working independently in the field

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Current Australian Driver's Licence

- Forklift and Scissor Lift licences (desirable)

- Comfortable working at heights
