NDIS/SDA - Clinical Nurse

About the facility:
This Disability Accommodation Service (SIL's) near Richlands, South West Brisbane, QLD, provides high quality 24/7 support and care to 28 participants with Complex High Support Needs and significant physical impairments.

About the role:
As the Clinical Nurse - you will be provide support and leadership to the team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Disability Support Workers. You will be providing compassionate, ethical and comprehensive direct care to the participants including ongoing case management and review of care needs.

Duties:

- Educate and mentor the clinical staff and team
- Supporting the service Manager - assist with leading, supervision and developing of staff, helping them to understand the importance of best practice in the supporting of residents with all aspects of daily living
- Assess residents’ care needs, develop relevant care strategies and evaluate care plans




- Work within the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission

Skills and Requirements:

- Experience in either Aged Care or Disability - including palliative care and challenging behaviours
- Registered Nurse with current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance & NDIS Worker Orientation Module
