2IC (Second in Charge) – Early Childhood Education & Care

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate 2IC to join our early learning centre located close to the city.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong early childhood professional who enjoys working collaboratively within a well-established and supportive team of educators.

About the Role

As the 2IC, you will support the Centre Leadership Team with the daily operations of the service while helping lead and mentor educators to maintain a high-quality learning environment for children and families.

The successful candidate will be flexible to work varied shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm.

Essential Requirements

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

- Previous experience in a leadership or senior educator role

- Current GECCKO Certificate

- Current CHCPRT025 – Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk

- Current Blue Card / Working With Children Check

- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
