About the role

John R Keith (NSW) Pty Ltd is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Plumbing Apprentices to join our team in Sydney NSW. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to launch your career in the plumbing trade. As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced plumbers, gaining hands-on experience whilst developing the technical skills and knowledge required to become a qualified tradesperson. This role is essential to our business as it ensures we maintain a pipeline of skilled professionals to meet the growing demand for quality plumbing services across Sydney.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting qualified plumbers on residential, commercial and industrial plumbing projects

- Learning and practising fundamental plumbing techniques including pipe fitting, installation and repair

- Preparing work areas and gathering required tools and materials under supervision

- Following health and safety protocols and maintaining compliance with workplace standards

- Troubleshooting plumbing issues and understanding diagnostic procedures

- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of work completed

- Developing knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations and best practices

- Assisting with water supply systems, drainage systems, and heating installations

- Supporting the team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards

What we're looking for

- Year 12 (or equivalent) as a minimum requirement

- A genuine passion for the plumbing trade and commitment to learning

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic

- White Card (Construction Induction Card)

- A valid Australian driver's licence (preferred,



as some roles may require travel to job sites)

- No prior plumbing experience necessary – we will provide comprehensive training
