About the role

Springwood Smiles, a family dental practice located in Gawler East SA, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Dental Assistant with Dental Reception skills to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
This role is Part Time.

Your responsibilities
As a Dental Assistant you will:

- Assist chairside with a variety of dental procedures

- Set up, change over, and shut down surgeries

- Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment

- Participate in team meetings and contributing to the overall operations of the practice

Occasionally, you will be required to do reception tasks. On reception, you will:

- Greet patients, and create a warm, welcoming environment

- Answer phones, schedule appointments, manage confirmations and handling payment processing

- Provide exceptional customer service and responding to patient enquires and concerns

About you
We're looking for someone who:





- Has previous experience as a Dental Assistant

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients

- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail

- Proficient in using dental software and computer systems

- Commitment to providing high quality patient care and maintaining a professional demeanor

- Flexible and adaptable, able to work well in a team environment
