About the role

Southside Dental Group is looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Dental Assistant/ Receptionist to join our dynamic team in Richlands, QLD. This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced dental practice environment.

What you'll be doing

- Chairside assisting during general and surgical dental procedures

- Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining infection control standards

- Sterilising and processing dental instruments

- Taking and preparing dental X-rays as required

- Assisting with impressions, scans, photos and other clinical procedures

- Preparing instruments, materials and equipment for appointments

- Supporting dentists during patient treatment

- Providing friendly and professional patient care

- Cleaning and maintaining surgery areas

- Helping with general reception and administrative duties when required

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent organisational and time management abilities





- Proficiency in using dental software and computer systems

- A friendly, patient, and professional demeanour
