About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Paraplanner/ Financial Planning Support Officer to join our financial advice team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional client service, supporting financial advisers, coordinating advice documentation and ensuring administrative and compliance requirements are completed accurately and efficiently.

As a key member of the team, you will be the primary point of contact for many clients and will play an important role in maintaining long-term client relationships while supporting the delivery of high-quality financial advice services.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day client enquiries and communications.

- Coordinate client review meetings, appointments and follow-up actions.

- Prepare and maintain client documentation, review packs and advice records.

- Assist with the preparation and implementation of Statements of Advice (SOAs) and ongoing service reviews.

· Assisting existing support staff with more complex implementation of strategy

- Liaise with product providers, superannuation funds, accountants and solicitors on behalf of clients.

- Ensure client records are maintained accurately within CRM systems.

- Support compliance requirements, KYC obligations and regulatory documentation.

- Process account maintenance requests and client administration activities.

- Work closely with financial advisers to ensure efficient and timely delivery of client services.

- Contribute to a professional client experience and uphold strict confidentiality standards.

Skills & Experience





- Previous experience in financial planning, wealth management or financial services administration.

- Strong understanding of financial advice processes and client service standards.

- Experience preparing SOAs, ROAs, review documentation or similar advice-related material.

- Knowledge of superannuation, SMSFs, investments and retirement planning concepts.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong attention to detail and organisational ability.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

- Experience using CRM systems, Microsoft Office and financial planning platforms.

Desirable

- Experience supporting sophisticated investors, SMSFs and retirement clients.

- Understanding of compliance obligations within the Australian financial advice industry.
