About the role

An opportunity exists for a dynamic, well organised, and patient focused person to join our team in the role of a Dermatology (Registered) Nurse. We are a privately owned specialist dermatology facility located in Yokine.

Key responsibilities

- Surgical assistance in theatre; flaps, grafts, excisions, biopsy, and nail evulsions

- Local anaesthetic administration

- Suturing excision sites

- Suture removal

- Maintaining aseptic and sterile techniques

- Complex wound assessment and ongoing wound management

- Application of complex dressings and management

- Pressure dressing management and support

- Post-operative patient education and support

- Biologic therapy support, administration, and monitoring

- Skin integrity assessment

- Instrument sterilisation

- Infection control compliance





- Clinical stock management

- Auditing

- Consultant liaison and follow-up coordination

About you

- Experience in Dermatology, wound management & surgical procedures is favourable

- Highly adaptable and capable of working autonomously

- Excellent communication skills

- Patient-centred approach to delivering safe, high-quality care

- Able to work collaboratively within a diverse medical team

- Be mature, skilled, and empathetic in all your dealings

- Be well presented, highly reliable and be a positive contributor

- Be able to efficiently multitask whilst being flexible and adaptable
