About the role

We're a Melbourne commercial electrical crew working mainly across shop fit-outs, hospitality venues, gyms, studios and commercial interiors. We work directly with builders and take care of the electrical package from start to finish. Our jobs are all over Victoria, with the occasional interstate job thrown in as well.

What you'll actually be doing with us

Our apprentices work alongside experienced A-Grades and are involved in the whole job, not stuck doing one task for months.

Depending on the project, you'll get experience with:

- Commercial rough-ins and fit-offs

- Lighting installations and lighting control

- Power installations

- Data and communications

- Switchboards and modifications

- Reading plans and working from drawings

- Testing and fault finding

- Working directly with builders and other trades

- Understanding how a commercial project actually runs

- Taking a job from rough-in right through to handover
We want our 3rd and 4th years thinking ahead, solving problems and learning how to run parts of a job - not standing around waiting for someone to tell them which cable to pull next.

Who we're looking for

Ideally, you're a 3rd or 4th year electrical apprentice who:

- Has a good attitude

- Wants to learn

- Turns up on time

- Takes some pride in their work

- Can have a laugh but knows when it's time to get the job done





- Is comfortable working as part of a crew

- Wants exposure to more than one part of the trade

- Has a driver's licence and reliable transport

- Is happy to travel around Victoria and occasionally interstate for projects

Commercial experience would be great, but attitude and work ethic matter more to us.

If you’re a 2nd year or adult apprentice and reckon you’d be a good fit for our team, we’d still love to hear from you. Good people with the right attitude are always worth a conversation.
