At Kirinari, we know that great support starts with great planning. We're looking for a highly organised and solutions-focused Rostering & Planning Coordinator to help ensure our customers receive consistent support while our employees have stable, sustainable and compliant work arrangements.

This is more than a scheduling role. You'll play a key part in workforce optimisation, employee retention and customer outcomes by creating long-term rostering solutions that balance operational requirements, employee preferences and SCHADS Award compliance.

This is a full time role based at our Lavington office.

About the Role

You will be responsible for designing and maintaining ongoing workforce plans that balance customer needs, employee preferences, operational requirements and SCHADS Award compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

- Creating ongoing rosters and permanent staff lines.
- Developing and maintaining master rosters for customer ROCs.
- Forward scheduling shifts to support workforce stability and service continuity.
- Identifying opportunities to convert suitable casual employees into permanent positions.
- Managing annual leave requests and coordinating workforce coverage strategies.
- Undertaking consultation processes in accordance with SCHADS Award requirements.
- Scheduling buddy shifts for new employees and employees transitioning into new supports.
- Collaborating with operational leaders and recruiters to proactively address workforce gaps and future staffing requirements.
- Maintaining accurate workforce records and roster documentation.
- Supporting initiatives that improve workforce utilisation,



employee engagement and retention.

What Success Looks Like

- Sustainable, compliant and cost-effective rosters are maintained.
- Ongoing vacancies and unfilled hours are proactively reduced.
- New employees are successfully onboarded through coordinated buddy shifts.
- Annual leave and roster changes are managed effectively.
- SCHADS Award consultation requirements are completed accurately and on time.
- Employees transition into permanent arrangements where suitable.
- Workforce planning supports positive outcomes for both customers and employees.

What You'll Bring

- Experience in rostering, scheduling, workforce planning or workforce administration.
- An understanding of the SCHADS Award and workforce planning principles.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced workplace.
- A commitment to collaboration, continuous improvement and customer outcomes.
