The Role
A new chance has been created for an experienced APS6 Case Manager to join a specialist HR Case Management Unit within a medium size federal government department.

This role will provide expert advice, guidance and support across a diverse range of employee performance, conduct and workplace behaviour matters. You will work closely with employees, managers and senior stakeholders to develop practical strategies, manage complex cases and support positive workplace outcomes.

The engagement
This role can be offered as either a 12 month non-ongoing or opportunity, or, for those who are currently permanent in the APS, an ongoing s26 transfer offer can be considered too.

Location
With a preference for Canberra, applicants can be considered in other locations too (Brisbane, Sydney or Adelaide).

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Managing complex employee performance, conduct and workplace behaviour matters.
- Providing advice and case management support to employees and managers.
- Coordinating and supporting Code of Conduct investigations, including procurement, brief preparation and documentation.
- Managing complaints relating to inappropriate workplace behaviour.




- Developing and reviewing policies and procedures relating to employee performance and behaviour.
- Supporting early intervention and return-to-work strategies in collaboration with colleagues.

Skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations, performance and conduct matters, ideally within a government workplace. You will also need to have a current security clearance.

Eligibility
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
