The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute Project Manager with a strong background in commercial construction and building services to join our Digital Buildings business in Perth, Western Australia.

Responsible for the successful delivery of Schneider Electric's Building Management System (BMS) projects across WA, you will take ownership of project outcomes across scope, schedule, cost, safety and quality. Working closely with clients, consultants, builders, subcontractors and int

ernal stakeholders, you will lead project delivery from initiation through to commissioning and handover.

With a strong pipeline of projects across the commercial, healthcare, education, data centre, defence and critical infrastructure sectors, this role offers the chance to build a long-term career in the Western Australian market while delivering exciting landmark construction projects that are helping shape Perth's future built environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Manage the delivery of complex BMS and building automation projects.
- Effectively manage project scope, schedule, cost and risk baselines.
- Develop and manage detailed project execution plans, including cost forecasts, work breakdown structures (WBS), project schedules and critical path analysis.
- Maintain a high level of communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive project reviews, risk management activities, resource planning and allocation to achieve agreed budget, schedule and quality outcomes.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring budget, scope, timelines and quality requirements are met.
- Monitor project performance and financial outcomes, including forecasting, variations and commercial reporting.
- Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Schneider Electric and customer requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

In Addition, You Have the Following Skills

- Tertiary or trade qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong project management capability, with PMP certification or the ability to achieve certification.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, coupled with direct client and end-user engagement experience.
- Knowledge of BMS controls (BMS/BAS/BMCS) and HVAC systems would be highly advantageous.
- Commercial acumen in managing construction contracts, project financials and contractual obligations, together with the ability to meet client technical requirements and exceed customer expectations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, complemented by strong organisational and time management abilities.
- A proven track record of successfully delivering complex commercial construction projects, ideally within building services, automation, HVAC or related environments.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and proficiency in digital tools including Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite, SAP and project management systems.
