Axent is seeking Electronic Technicians at both junior and experienced levels to join our Service Department in Clayton, Victoria. It is imperative that you have a positive hard working attitude, time management skills and hold a passion to deliver outstanding service and support to our customers.

You will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electronic signage and general electronic devices both in-house and in the field.

You will benefit by working with high quality products and state of the art technology for our high profile clientele.

The Role

- You will be performing installation, maintenance and repairs to LED/LCD electronic displays, security monitoring systems and CCTV systems.

- Repair and trouble shooting printed circuit boards

- Work with Surface Mount Technology (SMT)

- Test and Tag activities

- Ability to create and work in a safe environment.

- Ability to follow OH&S; requirements.

- Commissioning and testing of field equipment.

- Customer training and project handovers.

- Works are based in Clayton Victoria however, field works are across the entire state of Victoria.

- Travel is an essential part of this role

- After hours works and “On-call” duties where required.

- Prepare detailed service and failure records and reports.

Must have requirements.





To be successful in this role we are seeking a suitably qualified person with demonstrated skills and qualifications as listed below:

- Experience in servicing and maintaining electronic equipment/devices.

- Certificate III in Electronics and Communications

- Experience in soldering and working with SMT / SMD

- Familiar with use of Windows OS and MS Office.

- Sound QA & OHS understanding and compliance.

- Competent in the use of hand and power tools.

- Have excellent communication skills, initiative and logical reasoning.

- Car License – Mandatory.

- Positive can-do attitude

- White Card

- EWP, Working at Heights, and First Aid tickets are preferred but not essential
