Are you a Registered or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care? Tweed Day Surgery is looking for a nurse to join our Scrub/Scout or Endoscopy or Anaesthetic teams. Suitable applicants with the right clinical background are encouraged to apply.
As a Registered/Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
Delivering evidence-based nursing care
Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team
Ensuring patient and staff safety
Delivering excellent patient care
Working closely with visiting medical officers
Tweed Day Surgery is a stand-alone facility with 3 operating theatres, specialising in Ophthalmology, Endoscopy, Plastics, Orthopaedics, Max Facs, General, ENT, and Pain Management.
We're situated on the QLD/NSW border.
Essential Criteria:
Current registration with AHPRA
Perioperative nursing experience
Working with Children Check
Commitment to quality patient care
Compliance with ACSQHC National Standards
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Basic computer skills
Minimum 3 years' Scrub/Scout/Endoscopy/Anaesthetics experience
Robust problem-solving and analytical skills
