Assistant Manager — The Cupping Room, Canberra

The Cupping Room is looking for an Assistant Manager to help lead our daily operations and join an experienced, passionate leadership team.

We're a day/brunch café representing the ONA Coffee brand, and we're after someone who thrives in a quick-paced environment, genuinely cares about customer service, and brings the right energy to the floor every day.

What you'll do:
Support the Venue Manager in running day-to-day operations, lead and motivate the floor team during service, help maintain our standards for coffee, food, and hospitality, and step up to make decisions when things get busy.

What we're looking for:
Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role in hospitality or café settings,



a genuine passion for coffee and customer experience, robust leadership skills with the ability to stay calm and lead by example under pressure, and someone who brings excellent energy and works well as part of a team.
