About the role

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Warehouse Storeman to support our busy Warehouse department. This full time permanent role will report to the Warehouse Manager and Senior Management.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
To execute the receiving and dispatching of stock to and from customers/Distributors
Ensure all stock is correct at receivals
Return stock to suppliers if not within specifications/ Temperature etc.
Prepare stock requirements timeously
Pack and dispatch all orders
Administer all paperwork and delivery notes as per defined procedures – including update to Computer Inventory management system.




Maintain effective stock control at all times
Control dry store area (stock to be correctly put away and cleaned daily)
Fulfil order requests from Kitchens and deliver to working cool rooms
Control working Freezers (stock to be correctly put away and cleaned daily)
Order and maintain other required uniforms/equipment (Gloves, Aprons, Hand towels etc.)
Ensure Minimum and Maximum stock levels
Check and file warehouse documents.
Ad hoc maintenance (including management of contractors for our equipment)
Maintain register and schedule for regular service maintenance of Equipment and Machinery within Factory
Complete stock takes as requested and as believed necessary
Keep track and take care of used pallets
Keep outside area around building tidy and clean
Help with ad hoc deliveries to customers
Duties as requested by management from time to time.
