Our client is a well-regarded institutional financial services firm based in Sydney, seeking a Senior FICC Middle Office Analyst to join their dynamic team. This is a broad operations and compliance-focused role, supporting fixed income and money market activity, client onboarding, KYC/AML compliance, settlements, and operational enhancements.

As a core member of the team, you’ll gain direct exposure to senior leadership and high-value institutional clients across the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities
Act as the firm’s AML/CTF Compliance Officer, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations




Manage KYC onboarding workflows and Salesforce data management
Liaise with partner banks, custodians, and ADIs to ensure accurate trade settlement
Oversee Austraclear settlements, reconciliations, and documentation control
Drive process improvements and support automation initiatives across middle office operations

Ideal Candidate Profile
5+ years’ experience in FICC, Fixed Income, or Money Market middle office or onboarding roles
Solid understanding of institutional onboarding frameworks, AML/CTF/KYC regulations
Familiarity with Austraclear, custodians, and bond settlements
Experience with systems such as ALERT, CTM, Salesforce, and ideally OMGEO/DTCC
Robust communication skills and ability to work across teams and counterparties
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, or Law (preferred)
