The Boat Works is seeking a motivated, reliable team player to join our growing company in a full-time position. This role involves transporting and launching vessels in and out of the water, using various types of equipment, including forklifts and straddle carriers.

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
Operate forklifts, travel lifts, and sealifts to safely move and position boats
n
Assist with waterblasting and cleaning the hull of vessels for maintenance works
n
Set vessels down and return boats to the water after maintenance works
n
Greet and welcome customers on the jetty, ensuring a positive customer experience
n
Work collaboratively with the team in a quick-paced, dynamic environment
n
Maintain a clean and organized work area
n
Ensure safe operation of equipment in compliance with all relevant safety standards
n
Two- way radio communication
n

n





Ideal Candidates Will Have:

n

n
Previous experience with crane operation, rigging, dogman, or warehousing machinery (highly desirable)
n
Labour intensive role that requires lifting and walking up to 20km per day
n
A robust commitment to safety and attention to detail
n
Marine-related experience is a plus
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
