About the role

We are seeking a qualified Retail Pharmacist to join our team. This position is suited to a pharmacist who enjoys working directly with patients, providing clear medicines advice and contributing to the day-to-day operation of a busy community pharmacy. The successful candidate will be involved in dispensing, patient counselling, medicines management, health promotion and supervision of pharmacy support staff

About you
Communication skills essential
· Bachelor degree or higher qualification in pharmacy, or an equivalent qualification recognised for practice in Australia.

· Current, or ability to obtain, registration as a pharmacist in Australia.





· Strong knowledge of medicines, dispensing procedures, skilled standards and community pharmacy practice.

· Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, carers, prescribers and other healthcare professionals.

· High attention to detail, sound skilled judgement and a commitment to patient safety.

· Ability to work effectively in a small team and support pharmacy support staff in a practical, hands-on manner.

· Experience in a community or retail pharmacy workplace is preferred, although suitably qualified candidates with relevant training or supervised practice experience will be considered.
