We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Sonographer to join the team here in Gippsland primarily based in Traralgon on a Full-Time Permanent basis.

Suitable candidates must possess an undergraduate degree in either Medical Imaging Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology or Medical radiations technology, or another relevant health-related discipline.

The successful candidate will undertake intensive in office training and further post-graduate university studies to obtain qualification in medical ultrasound.

Key Selection Criteria:
Relevant professional experience within Medical Imaging or similar medical academic qualifications
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking




Good organisational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks
Strong work ethic and commitment to I-MED culture and values
