About the role
We are a general practice seeking a compassionate, skilled and reliable Practice Nurse to join our supportive and patient-focused team.
This is a casual position, working Fridays from 9:00am to 5:00pm (8 hours per week), with additional hours available to provide annual leave and sick leave cover.
Key responsibilities:
• Assist GPs with patient care and clinical procedures
• Perform health assessments, care plans and chronic disease management activities
• Administer vaccinations and support immunisation programs
• Conduct wound care, ECGs and other nursing procedures as required
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
• Manage recalls, reminders and preventative health activities
• Support infection control and accreditation requirements
• Work collaboratively with doctors, reception staff and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care

Experience and qualifications required
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Friendly, caring and skilled with a patient-centred approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Reliable, adaptable and committed to delivering quality healthcare
