My client is an established Australian hotel group with a portfolio of well-known pubs across Sydney.

And I'll be upfront: this isn't a shiny corporate office with beanbags and Friday cocktails.

You’ll work from the group's head office in Maroubra with a small, established finance team. It’s busy and hands-on. What they can offer is stability, autonomy and the chance to become a genuinely important part of the business.

You’ll gradually take responsibility for the accounts across several hotel venues, including:
End-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Bank,



credit card and supplier reconciliations
Recording daily venue sales and tracking gaming payments
Monitoring secure balances and venue floats
Payroll support and employee records
Assisting with month-end
Compliance and training administration
Preparing information and reports for Directors, stakeholders and auditors
General finance and administration support when needed

You’ll ideally have:
Solid experience as an Accounts Officer, Bookkeeper or similar
Robust MYOB experience
Excellent reconciliation skills
AP and AR experience
Exceptional attention to detail
The ability to manage your own workload and deadlines

Experience within hotels, pubs, clubs, gaming or another multi-site business would be particularly valuable.
