Operations Manager, National Field Operations

D2C is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day to day delivery of our national field campaigns across sampling, demonstrations, merchandising, events and experiential activations.

About the Role

You will take ownership of the operational delivery of our campaigns, ensuring they are properly staffed, prepared and executed on time, on budget and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:
Recruiting, rostering and managing Brand Ambassadors, Merchandisers and other field staff
Managing and developing our national field staff database
Ensuring campaigns are fully staffed, trained and ready before launch
Troubleshooting and resolving live campaign issues
Managing field staff performance, compliance and reporting quality
Working closely with Account Management, clients and retailers
Improving operational systems,



processes and technology
Identifying opportunities to automate work, reduce costs and improve efficiency
Supporting and developing the Operations team

What We're Looking For

You will ideally have experience in field marketing, staffing, retail operations, events or another business managing large casual workforces.

You should have:
Experience managing field or casual teams
Robust rostering, recruitment and staff management experience
Excellent organisation and communication skills
A proactive approach and robust sense of ownership
Ability to manage multiple campaigns and tight deadlines
Strong problem solving and decision making skills
Experience improving systems and processes
Confidence using Excel, Teams, Outlook and operational technology
A genuine interest in people, technology and continuous improvement

Experience in shopper marketing, FMCG, grocery, consumer electronics, retail or experiential marketing will be highly regarded.

Our office is based in Marrickville , with flexibility to work between the office and home.
