Dual Trade Maintenance Technician - Night Shift | $65-$70/hr + Loading

We are seeking an experienced Dual Trade Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing operation. This is a permanent position from day one, offering an excellent hourly rate, additional night shift loading and long-term stability with a energetic and growing business.

THE ROLE

Working as part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for keeping production equipment running safely, efficiently and reliably.

Your duties will include:
Mechanical and electrical breakdown maintenance
Fault finding and troubleshooting production equipment
Preventative and planned maintenance
Mechanical repairs, component replacement and equipment adjustments
Electrical diagnostics, repairs and maintenance
Minimise downtime and respond quickly to production breakdowns




Identify recurring faults and opportunities to improve equipment reliability
Work closely with production teams to maximise plant performance
Maintain robust safety and maintenance standards across the site

ABOUT YOU

Dual trade qualifications are essential for this position. You must have:
Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent
Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent
Current NSW Electrical Licence
Proven maintenance experience within an FMCG manufacturing environment
Strong production and breakdown maintenance experience
Confident mechanical and electrical fault-finding capability
Experience working on quick-paced production machinery and equipment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively and independently on a dedicated night shift
Full Australian work rights
Ability to provide contactable references from previous employers
