Database Engineer - NV1 Clearance Required

Anywhere in Australia – Hybrid

Contract until September 2027 – Likely to extend

NV1 Security Clearance mandatory

We are seeking an experienced Database Engineer to design, develop and optimise data platforms, pipelines and integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain scalable data pipelines
Develop and optimise ETL/ELT processes
Support batch and near-real-time data processing
Work with data architects and analysts
Ensure data quality, security and performance
Support cloud data platforms, data lakes and warehouses
Troubleshoot data pipeline and performance issues
Contribute to automation, monitoring and CI/CD

Key Requirements
5+ years’ Data Engineering experience
Robust ETL/ELT and SQL skills




Relational and NoSQL database experience
Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse or equivalent
Data modelling and performance optimisation
CI/CD and DevOps experience
Robust analytical and troubleshooting skills
Active NV1 Security Clearance – mandatory
