About the role

A local dessert business is looking for an All-Rounder Team Member for a diverse, hands-on role covering kitchen work, retail service, dishwashing, market work and content creation.

Key responsibilities
General food preparation, baking, dessert assembly and/or cake decorating
Serving customers at our active night market and/or storefront, including setup and pack-down
Washing kitchen dishes and maintaining a clean, organised and sanitary kitchen and market area
Helping film photos and videos for our social media, including being comfortable participating in content yourself
Stock control, restocking ingredients and supplies, and helping keep everything organised
Assisting with receiving, organising and delivering stock/orders

Shift Requirements
Early mornings (possibly from 5am)
Late nights (finishing 10-11pm)
Day or night shifts

About you
Availability for varying shift times or last minute shifts
Current driver's licence




Ability to lift up to 25kg
Excellent attention to detail
Confidence working autonomously and getting tasks done without constant supervision
Ability to work well within a small team
Reliable, punctual and genuinely keen to work
Comfortable working in a rapid-paced workplace
Previous experience in baking, cake decorating, or any dessert preparation is highly desirable
Previous experience as a kitchen hand or in preparing food
Previous experience working at markets or events, retail or customer service
Experience in creating engaging social media content is a bonus
Being comfortable on camera!
