Menindee Health Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a contract basis, starting as soon as possible for up to three months. Based in rural NSW, this role offers the chance to work in a generalist acute setting where clinical autonomy and solid decision-making are valued. The position is remunerated at AUD45.00 to AUD60.00 per hour, and suits a nurse with solid ED experience who is comfortable working independently when required.

Preferred Requirements




Demonstrated experience working in an emergency department setting
Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
Solid acute nursing experience with generalist skills across multiple presentations
Rural and remote nursing experience, or demonstrated ability to adapt to rural healthcare environments
Capacity to work as the sole RN on duty and manage clinical priorities independently

Preferred Qualifications
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Current immunisation evidence as per NSW Health requirements
Ability to drive to site preferred, though not essential
