This role sits within our Legal Advisory team and reports to a supervising Partner.
What will you be responsible for?
Providing pragmatic, technically accurate legal advice to a range of large and key clients
Advising on and managing matters including restraint of trade, wrongful termination, discrimination, unfair dismissal, general protections and industrial disputes
Drafting workplace policies, employment contracts, enterprise agreements and other employment documentation
Preparing and amending written advice and correspondence for clients
Conducting legal research and supporting partners on complex matters
Contributing to business development as your profile and confidence grows
You'll be a genuine fit for our team - a bright spark with high IQ, but also high EQ (and you'll know why that matters in employment law).
You're passionate about building a career in workplace relations and employment law,



and you bring real commitment to helping clients navigate complexity with explicit-headed, commercially sound advice.
2-4 years PAEas an employment law practitioner (private practice or in-house considered)
Strong drafting skills and an eye for detail without losing sight of the practical outcome
Comfortable working autonomously and managing competing deadlines
Client-facing confidence and a genuine interest in building relationships
Curious, growth-oriented and collaborative - you make the people around you better
Admitted to practice in Australia with full working rights and no restrictions
