About This Opportunity
We are currently seeking aYear 1 Registered Nurseto join our Care team at ourMoran Sylvania homeon a12 months fixed term contract!
Above award rates $***** - $***** base rate per hour.
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday - 12 months fixed contract!
Reporting to the Care Manager, you will be providing quality nursing care and assist to the changing clinical needs of the residents.
This includes consulting with residents and their families, staff, management, and other allied health professionals.
Working with a wonderful team of dedicated people, your contribution will make a difference to our residents' enjoyment of their life every day.
You will be guided and mentored to ensure you thrive in your role with us and to further develop your skills.
If you are a skilled, motivated, and dedicated Registered Nurse with the passion to improve our residents' daily life, this role is for you.
Key Duties
Developing and evaluating personal resident care plans and completing assessments
Providing clinical services such as wound management, medication management and palliative care
Liaising with medical and allied health professionals and residents' family members
Work with the Clinical Leadership team with more complex clinical management
Supervising and supporting our Personal Care Workers
Skills/Requirements
Current Registration with AHPRA
Caring and empathetic
Able to communicate with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders
Strong leadership skills.
Good assessment/prioritisation skills
Able to work effectively and efficiently within a team
Proficient level of verbal and written communication
Awareness of Aged Care Quality Standards
Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
